This is the process of defining the Micro PAVER™ database and collecting vital information regarding your pavement network. KMS professionals will properly set up your Networks, Branches and Sections to accommodate your agency's needs. Typical information gathered in this process includes shoulder type, pavement type, last construction date, lengths, widths, rank classification, ADT, etc. KMS can even customize the Micro PAVER™ database to gather inventory information on other assets such as sidewalks, curbs and signs!

This is the process of defining and inspecting sample units within pavement sections to determine their pavement condition index (PCI). This is an ASTM standardized inspection process that works hand in hand with the Micro PAVER™ pavement management system. This is the process of keeping your work history up to date within the Micro PAVER™ database. Keeping track of work performed within your agency is an important element to pavement management. Finding the time and resources to accomplish this can often be difficult, but KMS is here to assist you with these needs as well.

This is the process of taking digital images of each inspected sample unit. KMS will create a fully indexed image CD/DVD and link all the images to their corresponding pavement sections in the Micro PAVER™ Database. This service provides a fast and easy method to view quality digital images of all the pavement sections within your agency.

This is the process of integrating existing GIS based maps which are in the shapefile format into the Micro PAVER™ database. The final result provides GIS views of your pavement management data including condition at last inspection, various pavement section information, condition analysis, work planning, etc. These GIS view can not only be viewed within your existing GIS software, but within the Micro PAVER™ pavement management system itself!

Complete Software and Data Implementation
Remember, the professionals at KMS and Associates strive to provide a complete solution to your Micro PAVER™ and pavement management needs. Our services do not stop once all data has been collected and the database has been linked with GIS. KMS & Associates will also take care of the software and data installation. In addition, we will provide a basic system overview. This helps to eliminate the guesswork of installation and use that is often encountered with other consultants.

All too often, agencies are unable to allocate the necessary time and resources to maintaining the management system. It is imperative that the system stays up to date if an agency intends to continue managing their infrastructure successfully with Micro PAVER™. This is where the Micro PAVER™ Web Assist Support Subscription comes into play. For a monthly fee, members will have the ability to communicate, collaborate and share files online with KMS through a virtual office web portal. All information and data will be secure by way of password protection and a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. With this service, KMS offers continuous “full support” allowing your agency to make specific requests regarding reporting, work history, general database updates, GIS mapping, etc. for KMS to fulfill.
